A subtle blend of tradition
and modernity
Louis-Gabriel de Jerphanion has just invested a million
francs in modernising his estate. His goal was to improve
production methods and enhance the quality of his wines.
This investment is totally in keeping with a family
winegrowing tradition that goes back more than a century.
Louis-Gabriel de Jerphanion's family has been established
at Château Moncets for 5 generations.
This château is located at the intersection of the prestigious
Pomerol, Lalande de Pomerol, Saint-Emilion and Montagne-Saint-Emilion
appellations.
This beautiful nineteen hectare estate straddles the
Lalande de Pomerol and Montagne-Saint-Emilion appellations.
It is located just a few hundred metres from Pétrus.
