Sales
Château Moncets is sold three different ways:
- a quarter of the wine is bought in bulk by Jean-Pierre
Moueix, a Libourne shipper.
- half of the wine is château-bottled and sold
to other shippers
- a quarter is château-bottled and sold directly
by the estate
Louis-Gabriel de Jerphanion's wines are appreciated
all over the world, especially in England, Canada, the
Benelux countries, Japan, and Germany.
For commercial reasons, and further to the addition
of Château Haut-Ballet to the family vineyard
holdings, Louis-Gabriel de Jerphanion's wines are sold
under three names: Château Moncets, Château
Gardour and Château Haut-Ballet.
Louis-Gabriel de Jerphanion and his brother (Father
Emmanuel, co-owner of Moncets and Gardour), also own
Château La Bastidette (1.1 hectares), a wine in
the Montagne-Saint-Emilion appellation.
